The NHL.tv and NHL GameCenter Kodi addons are two nearly identical addons which allow you to use your online NHL credentials to stream hockey games all season long.
NHL GameCenter is NHL’s online solution for those who prefer to stream hockey games through their media devices, including Kodi box. It is run by the same service as MLB.tv is for baseball, so you can expect similar quality and reliability.
The NHL.tv Kodi and NHL GameCenter Kodi addons are very similar. Both exist in the official Kodi repository and allow you to log in to your NHL GameCenter accounts. Both addons let you choose the quality you prefer to stream in and let you select a favourite team to display within the menus. Both addons follow the official NHL blackout rules, but you can simply enable your VPN in order to view games blacked out in your area.
The NHL.tv Kodi addon comes with a few extra features: In the addon settings, you can enable score notifications, which will let you know when your favourite team scores a goal in the corner of Kodi. As well, NHL.tv has a “Featured Videos” section that is available to stream even if you don’t have a paid account. Videos in this section include highlights, announcements, and hype videos that are hockey related.
