Lambda has released a Genesis 5.0.6 and it contains a ton of greats. As well, read on about the possibility of Genesis download functionality coming back!
Genesis 5.0.6 has been released and it is a big update for a few reasons. For starters, there are a ton of new great HD sources and unreliable ones have been removed. Secondly, lambda has all but confirmed that the Genesis download feature is coming back!

- Icefilms is disabled for now, because it doesn’t work properly.
- There are a lot of new hd sources in this version though.

In this version there is some extra code for spoyser’s Super Favourites. This extra code has to do with download.
I am thinking to bring back spoyser’s download script for downloading. I have been informed that there is a download manager addon in very early development by another addon developer.
The reason I had removed Genesis download was mostly because I didn’t want to work anymore on downloading stuff. So it was easier for me just to remove it![]( "Smile")
But now, there is a download manager in the horizon and I could later just send them to it![]( "Smile")
So, I am thinking to bring simple Genesis download back and replace it with the universal manager later. - More info about the next version

If you do not have Genesis yet for Kodi, here is an installation guide:
- Open Kodi and navigate to SYSTEM > File Manager > Add Source > None
- Type the following EXACTLY http://kodi.metalkettle.co and select Done
- Highlight the box underneath and enter a name for this media Source like “MK”. and then click OK
- Go back to your Home Screen and then to SYSTEM > Add-Ons > Install from Zip File > “MK”
- Select Recommended Repositories > repository.lambda-1.1.0.zip and wait for the Add-on enabled notification
- Select Get Add-Ons or Install from Repository (on Isengard) > lambda Add-on repository > Video Add-ons >Genesis > Install
- Wait for Add-on enabled notification
