October 19th: The NHL Hockey section in Phoenix 2.6.0 now supports Android! Thanks to the whole Phoenix team and Jinman, NHL Hockey on Android is now possible. But a warning, the setup is not for beginners! It requires that you know how to root your Android device and then follow a fairly lengthly setup process.
If you want to setup NHL Hockey on your Android device with Phoenix 2.6.0, click here for the setup guide from TVADDONS.
For support from the Phoenix group on getting NHL setup on Android, click here. I will try to help you out on Twitter, but I do not have an Android box and have not used the setup guide myself.

Over the weekend, there were Phoenix server problems that prevented a lot of the content in the video add-on from showing up correctly. It appears that those have been fixed and an update has been released today to fine-tune all of the sources inside of the add-on.
Phoenix 2.5.3 Changelog
- Added new sources
- Added new resolvers
- Updated available sources
- Updated available resolvers
- Code cosmetics
As you can see, there is not a lot of detail in the new add-on. Sources and resolvers help match a specific text link to a URL on a server that displays your Kodi video content to you. With some back-end server work being done, it may be necessary to re-work these so that Phoenix add-on users have valid links to click on when they want to watch a movie so that you don’t get any script errors because Kodi is unable to find the video source.
We tested the Phoenix 2.6.0 add-on and it looks like all videos are back up and working from the ones that we tried, so if you had trouble this weekend, make sure to go and see if the problems are fixed for you too!
If Phoenix still appears empty to you, clear out your Kodi cache! If you have the Maintenance Tool program add-on installed, you can clear the cache with one click from in there.
